Regular activities for children and young people
Friday
2 to 3pm, craft activities for children. Fun and funky crafts for children aged 5 to 11. Have fun designing, making things and being creative!

Saturday
1 to 2pm, fortnightly, Kids' Craft and Writing Club.
Make a craft and use it to write your own stories! Suggested for ages 7 to 11.

2 to 3pm, Lego Club, creative brick-building fun for ages 5 to 11.

4pm to 5pm, first Saturday of each month, Cantonese language activities for children.

Monday
11am, Library Link, fortnightly.
Free bus service for anyone who has difficulty getting to the library because of age, disability or ill health. Trained staff and Royal Voluntary Service volunteers help you on and off the minibus. Choose your books and enjoy a coffee and a chat before being taken home again. Contact the Library to register your interest.

2 to 3pm, Women’s Craft Group has a warm welcome for women of all ages. Come along and craft and chat, enjoy a hot drink and try something different every week.

2 to 4pm, Family and Household Support Service drop-in, 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Tuesday
2pm, Library Link, fortnightly.

5.30 to 6.30pm, Councillor drop in surgery with Councillor Katrina Faccenda, 1st and 4th Wednesday of the month (except in July and on public holidays).

6pm, Councillor Adam Nols-McVey drop in surgery, third Wednesday of the month

6.30 to 8pm, Knitting Group for adults. Come along with your needles and wool for a good knit and natter.

Thursday
2pm to 4pm, second Thursday of every month, RNID Near You. Support with information on hearing loss and tinnitus, how to do a hearing check and basic repairs and maintenance of NHS hearing aids.

Saturday
11.30am to 12.30pm, fortnightly, English Conversation Club. A friendly group for practising your English language skills.

Opened in 1932, Leith Library sits at the corner of Ferry Road and Great Junction Street, in front of Leith Theatre and next to Leith History Mural.
